What To Expect During RF Microneedling

Before beginning the procedure, we apply a topical numbing cream to ensure you remain comfortable throughout the treatment. Once the skin is numb, the provider gently applies the Genius handheld device throughout the treatment area. We customize the depth of the needles and the intensity of the RF energy according to your specific skin concerns and treatment goals.

What Is Recovery Like After RF Microneedling?

Following a Genius RF microneedling treatment, redness, swelling, and minor discomfort in the treated area is normal. These side effects usually subside within a few days. Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment, although avoiding excessive sun exposure and strenuous exercise for a few days is essential. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity and the intensity of the treatment, you may notice slight peeling or flaking as the skin undergoes the rejuvenation process.
